Meg's Princess Party

Meg is turning 5! She got her first birthday party and chose to do an all girls princess party. Each girl got to dress up as a princess and came over for pizza and games. They had so much fun decorating princess hats, playing poison apple (hot potato), and musical chairs.

Princess Balloon Fun...not to be confused with Princess Baboon Fun.

Craft time means time for the parents to catch their breath.

A wicked witch dropped off a poison apple that the girls got to play hot potato with.

Majestic loved her cake. It had plenty of strawberries.

Yummos. Everyone is liking their cake.

All the princesses enjoyed the party and Majestic made a fine host. She kept everyone involved and laughing together. Look at how engaged everyone is on her conversation. :)

And ice cream...

Musical chairs was a first time for a couple of princesses. They picked up on it quickly. Everyone was polite and I think one princess gave up her chair because another princesses didn't get one.

Meg's Do, and Scolly Too

I have been doing Megs hair ever since I found that hair website. Here are some pictures of her do's. And a video of Scolly.

Here is Meg in her curlers getting ready for church last Sunday. She loved the curlers and was sad that she didn't get to go to church with them in.

And today we did 2 French braids.

I really enjoy doing her hair. Its great bonding time too. I love seeing the finished product and feeling a sense of accomplishment that I did that. Its great.

I am going to take Q to the dr today or Monday for his checkup. I think he is doing tons better. so watch for a post about his progress in the next few days.

Meg is in this phase where it her turn! She wants to do everything herself. Watch closely while Meg tries to take a drink from this drinking fountain.

Fishbowl Fury!

Last night I got to see the Fishbowl Fury in action! Here are some shots and videos of the game.

This was before the game started. everyone was getting ready for the game.
They only had 7 players at first, so they knew this was going to be a tough game. One more player, (we wont mention names, you know who you are, Kyle) came late so then there were 8 players to play the game.

Everyone was so tired, because there were only 2 subs, but they kept on going! They played very well.

This is after the game. Everyone is resting and eating oranges. The fans got a chance to talk with the players and share the oranges.
One of the players took off quickly, rumor has it they were going on a hot date right after. I guess they were so excited, they left their jacket with their car keys in it. Hopefully they claim it, or we might have a new car!

Everyone had a good time. I will leave it at that.

Meg's Birthday Blowout...or was it?

Ok, because these were so cute and funny, I had to share.

This was Meg and Dad on Meg's birthday talking about HER birthday cake.

This one is Meg attempting to blow out her candles. Mom and Dad had to help her get the job done. but she sure tried her hardest!

Then she was all ready to dig in. We stripped her down because we thought she would make a huge mess, but she was a real lady when eating her cake and ice cream. The real mess was made while eating her pizza as you can see its all over her hands and face.
