Heber's Work Christmas Party

We had SO much fun at Heber's Company Christmas Party. They had a Photo booth, a character drawing, and other fun things, and lots of good food. It was alot of fun.

Here is the first thing we did, the Photo Booth.

Next we did the Character picture, Heber's Picture looked exactly like him. I will have to post it sometime.

Next Heber got a great idea to do the photo booth again with a plan.

It was cute, but I felt like it was a little too Brady Bunchy for me.

Hawaii!!

So a few weeks ago Heber told me that we were going to Hawaii. I asked when and he said on Sunday! I knew for less then a week that we were going to Hawaii for 10 days. He arranged the babysitting and everything and told me after he got it all arranged. We went with our friends Kevin and Katie. I was really glad because they had been there before and knew all the tricks of staying cheap in Hawaii.

It was the best vacation I have ever been on! I dont have all the pictures here I am going to try to get the rest later.

We went to Kauai which is called the garden island and has many water falls. We did so much site seeing of waterfalls, it was amazing! In Hawaii, its still winter there, so it wasnt as flowerful as i was expecting, but it was still warm and sunny. The ocean was still rough so when we went on our raft trip, we couldnt go into the sea caves because of the swells. But we did see whales which if we were there even a month later, we would not have seen them.

kayaking was really fun once we got the hang of it. it took us a while and Heber was sure our kayak was broken. it wasnt, it was just me. Had no clue what i was doing :)

We had to cross 2 rivers. look at hebers face as i was going to drown in the river. he was just laughing at me. That was a really fun picture to get.

We had such a good time! it was hard to come back. There is a 4 hour time difference there so I was waking up at 4 in the morning there where it would be 8 here. i am still not adjusted back to Utah time.

We also saw coconut trees, banana trees which were so cool!, and orange trees, and papaya, and guava trees. i think there was even an avocado tree.

we rode bikes all over the town, that was so fun! I tried a Hawaiian Ice it was good, and we tried puka dogs, they were awesome! The name was interesting, but the dogs were good!

Trying to say the names of the streets and stores and everything was so fun. It was a really neat experience to be able to go there and learn about the history. It was amazing!

Need I Say More?

Not Vacation! here we come...

In March it was our 5 year anniversary. We decided that we should do something big this year. We decided we would take a trip without the kids. Where we would go, we couldn't decide. I love to go out and do fun stuff, Heber likes to stay home and relax.

We decided we would take a not vacation. We are going in June. What is a not vacation? Exactly what it sounds like. No kids, we can do whatever we want. We are going to go to Park City, Salt Lake, and everywhere where in between. And maybe other places too. Some of the things we plan to do are miniature golfing, a dinner theater, a movie, go karts, temple square and the temple, The Roof, and the Mayan.

This will give us both what we want. Heber likes to be home, and I like to go out and do stuff. So we will do stuff during the day, and come home and get to sleep in our own bed.

We have realized there is not a lot to do in Utah unless you love the outdoors, and we don't. I mean we don't hate it, I just don't want to spend the week camping, hiking, and whatever else
people do in Utah.

We are pretty excited!

The Best 5 Years of My LIfe

So Saturday March 15 was our 5 year wedding anniversary. These 5 years have gone so fast. I couldn't be happier with the best husband ever, and 2 awesome kids. I truly feel blessed to have Heber in my life. He is so amazing, he is definitely something special.

Fishbowl Fury!

Last night I got to see the Fishbowl Fury in action! Here are some shots and videos of the game.

This was before the game started. everyone was getting ready for the game.
They only had 7 players at first, so they knew this was going to be a tough game. One more player, (we wont mention names, you know who you are, Kyle) came late so then there were 8 players to play the game.

Everyone was so tired, because there were only 2 subs, but they kept on going! They played very well.

This is after the game. Everyone is resting and eating oranges. The fans got a chance to talk with the players and share the oranges.
One of the players took off quickly, rumor has it they were going on a hot date right after. I guess they were so excited, they left their jacket with their car keys in it. Hopefully they claim it, or we might have a new car!
